About us

Established in September 2024, Off The Tracks Cafe is a small, family-owned business built on a love for the good coffee and great food. Off the Tracks is owned and operated by Gabriella Occhiuzzo who strives to bring family tradition to her community.

Growing up, Gabriella was surrounded by food, family and entrepreneurship. Her Dad, Joseph, owner of Reel Plumbing another local business. With Joseph’s expertise in building commercial kitchens and an additional 30+ years experience made Gabriella’s dream come to life. She watched her mom, Angela, cook and grew up making homemade sausage, canning their own tomato sauce and hand-rolling meatballs. Her family’s love for Italian tradition inspired her from a young age to dream of owning a business of her own.

Gabriella’s connection to the restaurant industry started young. She began working as a hostess before becoming a waitress, gaining hands-on experience in restaurants throughout high school and almost all of her college years.

Gabriella earned and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Rutger’s University. While in college, she developed a potential business plan for a school project and eventually turned that plan into reality with the opening of Off the Tracks Cafe.
